Privacy Policy

Overview

Rolantir is a free, independent beta web app for searching, filtering, and charting public Roblox data such as concurrent players (CCU), visits, favorites, and ratings across tracked games.

We've built Rolantir to be light on data collection. The app itself doesn't set cookies, run analytics, serve ads, or log your IP address in our own code. Most of what you save lives in your own browser, not on our servers.

What Information This Involves

There are only a few places data shows up: things you save locally in your browser, optional account info if you choose to sign in, and the messages you send to the AI assistant. Each is covered below.

We don't ask for or collect personal information beyond what's needed for these features.

Stored On Your Device

Some of your activity is saved locally in your browser using localStorage. This stays on your device and is not sent to our servers (unless and until account sync exists, described below).

• Your pinned and recently viewed games
• Your AI assistant (Ronny) conversation history
• Your theme preference (light or dark)

Accounts & Sign-In

Accounts are optional and currently in early, limited rollout. If you choose to sign in, we use Firebase Authentication (a Google service), with Google sign-in or email and password.

When you sign in, Firebase processes your account data: your email address, display name / basic profile, and authentication tokens. The purpose is to identify you and, in the future, to sync your saved library and chats. Firebase keeps your sign-in state in your browser (IndexedDB/localStorage), not in cookies that we set.

You don't need an account to use Rolantir.

The AI Assistant (Ronny)

When you ask Ronny something, your typed message plus relevant Roblox game-data context is sent to OpenAI's API to generate an answer. Your conversation history is also kept locally in your browser as described above.

Please don't enter sensitive personal information into the assistant. AI answers can be wrong or incomplete, so treat them as a starting point, not a final source.

Cookies, Tracking & Advertising

Plainly: Rolantir sets no cookies of its own, and runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We don't log your IP address in our own code.

The local browser storage described above (and Firebase's sign-in state, if you create an account) is used to make the app work for you, not to track you across the web.

Sharing & Selling

We do not sell your data. The only data sharing that happens is what's needed to run the features above: account data goes to Firebase (Google) when you sign in, and your assistant messages plus game-data context go to OpenAI when you use Ronny.

There's no advertising network or data broker involved.

Public Roblox Data

The game data shown in Rolantir is public data belonging to Roblox and/or its creators. Rolantir is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Roblox Corporation. "Roblox" is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.

This data may be delayed, cached, incomplete, estimated, or inaccurate, so don't rely on it as an official or precise source.

Children

Rolantir is a general-information tool about public Roblox data and is not directed at collecting personal data from children. Please don't enter personal information you wouldn't want processed by the services described here.

Changes To This Policy

Rolantir is in beta, and this policy is a temporary placeholder that may change at any time as the app evolves. When we make changes, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the app after an update means the revised policy applies.
